Professional Statement

~ The business of one's life is to identify and fulfill one's purpose. ~

My entire life's journey thus far has prepared me for exactly where I am, on the path to becoming a legal professional. I have always taken a keen notice, that in circumstances of injustice, the glimmer of hope that shone on the insignificant and downtrodden was the law. Laws were created to engender equity and promote fair play. My life's purpose is to further this cause by playing my small part.

So far, my studies have equipped me with a wealth of information on various aspects of the law, ranging from Family law to Real Estate law. Classes in Psychology and Communications have impressed upon me invaluable mental acuity, interpersonal sensitivity, self-motivation, and written and verbal communication skills necessary for the field, even as life has made familiar the human condition and our shared humanity. Life has handed me several disappointments, but I have only few regrets.

Professionally, I intend to play my part in advancing the welfare of those who need it most. As an immigrant myself, I intend to work tirelessly as a paralegal to help other immigrants find their way through the intricate American legal system, and in particular Immigration law to find sure footing in this democratic republic.
